Andrew has over 25 years experience in the field of production design, project management and in all phases of production - writing, conceptualizing, production design, videography, graphics and animation, post production and distribution. He has worked as a freelance illustrator, as a radio production department manager (ad agency), corporate video production department manager (major computer software companies), producer/animator for film/video production companies and freelance interactive designer/animator. He has served in the role of Special Effects Supervisor on numerous HD and film commercial shoots, utilizing skills such as rig and wire removal, rotoscoping, greenscreen compositing and EFX creation.

He has designed and produced countless corporate training/marketing programs and trade show programs for numerous companies such as Kodak, Procter & Gamble, Carrier, Motorola, ORMAT, Boston IVF, FedEx, US GreenFiber, Wyeth and Welch Allyn. His work has been seen on national broadcast and cable networks, corporate boardrooms and retail shelves around the country and convention centers around the world.

Andrew launched iMed Design in 2002 as a freelance design firm catering to the medical community and it has steadily grown into a full-service design and production facility – serving national ad agencies, medical/corporate organizations and broadcast clients. Andrew has been fortunate to be recognized by his peers with numerous awards such Syracuse Ad Club, the ADDYs, Telly Awards and the National Council on Family Relations Media Awards. iMed Design’s approach to production and success has been the subject of several newspaper and business journal articles.

Andrew served as a distinguished Telly Awards judge for 2009 and served as international broadcast judge for the Mobius Awards in 2007 and 2008.

Andrew holds a BA from the University of Maryland and an MS from Syracuse University, SI Newhouse School of Public Communications. He has also served as an adjunct professor teaching Shortform Production at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School.

Andrew is a hardcore Maryland Terrapins basketball fan who lives for March Madness. He also restores antique cars and all things related to 1940’s and 1950’s automobilia.
