SIMI VALLEY (CA) HOLIDAY TV SPOT 2008
We produced this holiday shopping in collaboration with Rick Allen of Rick Allen Design, Reno. In keeping with an established design (by Rick) for the long term campaign, we shot the family in HD over greenscreen. We keyed on green to generate the mattes necessary to make the family members gray. Extensive rotoscoping and rotopainting were used to bring back the presents in full color. Rotopainting was also used to fix keying problems caused by the wrapping paper. Finally we added a stock Christmas tree to most scenes and added 3D moves to the opening and closing shots.
